Celebrate Cinco de Mayo 2024 in Albuquerque

Cinco de Mayo is rapidly approaching. Cinco de Mayo, an annual holiday celebrating the Mexican Army's victory over the French Empire at the Battle of Puebla back in 1862, is widely celebrated in the United States with margaritas, tacos, and parties. Many restaurants and businesses offer special promotions for the holiday. Albuquerque is no exception. Here's how you can celebrate locally if you're planning on being in town on May 5th!

Annual Cinco de Mayo Folk Art Fest: La Parada and Farm & Table are joining together to host the annual Cinco de Mayo Folk Art Fest. This free event includes an artisan market, music, food, face painting, and craft workshops. A costume pet parade will be held on the farm at 2:30pm! 

Cinco de Mayo at Insideout: This Cinco de Mayo, come to Insideout for a night of live music! The Band of Enchantments will be presenting a stellar show. 

First Annual Best of Chips & Salsa Competition: For the first time ever, local New Mexican restaurants will have the chance to compete in a thrilling Chips and Salsa Competition. There will also be a Mariachi band, Paletas, and Piñatas. Don't miss out on the fun this Cinco de Mayo!
