Chocolate: The Exhibition is a traveling exhibit that "engages the senses and traces the evolution of chocolate from a small, bitter seed found deep in the rainforest to the continent-spanning delicacy it is today." It teaches visitors about the origins of chocolate and traces the history of the treat.

There's something for everyone at this exhibition. There are displays dedicated to the biology of cacao, life-sized cacao trees, cultural exhibits, and more. Across the displays, you'll follow cacao across the Atlantic and learn how sugar and the Industrial Revolution transform chocolate into the global commodity it is today.

Throughout the nine month run of the exhibit, the museum will host a series of chocolate educational offerings. There will be adult nights, a chocolate lecture series, additional Family Days, in-exhibit demonstrations, hands-on classes, summer camp days, and more. You can view the full event calendar here: https://www.nmnaturalhistory.org/calendar

This unique experience is open until March 12, 2023. People of all ages will enjoy Chocolate: The Exhibition! Plan your visit today.
