Earth Day is April 22, but that doesn't mean that you have to limit your celebration to a single day! In Taos, every day can be earth day! Here are a couple of our favorite local places to celebrate the planet we call home.

In 2010, Taos was a named a World Class Ecotourism Destination. It has lived up to this title in recent years! There are a variety of things for eco-conscious and nature-loving visitors to do in town. 

Rio Grande Gorge 

Love adventure? Try whitewater rafting on the Rio Grande Gorge! This is a phenomenal summer activity that is sure to get your adrenaline pumping. You'll love exploring the area's beautiful canyons while navigating the rapids. 

Taos Art School

Taos Art School offers cultural farm visits where guests can experience unique, intimate cultural agricultural programming. You can take a painting class, ride horses, see petroglyphs, or cook with traditional foods. There are plenty of activities to try!
