Celebrate Halloween in Albuquerque

Previously, I told you about the bar crawls taking place in Albuquerque this Halloween and about the city's Day of the Tread event. This week, I'll share some of my other favorite ways to celebrate! Get ready to get spooky in Albuquerque!

Ghost Tours: Ghost tours are one of my favorite ways to explore local history. Get to know all of the local haunts on a ghost tour! There are lots of tour options, so you can pick one that suits your needs. There are scarier tours for the brave and milder tours for the faint of heart. You can also opt for a tour that travels on foot or on bike! Pick your poison!

Boo at the Zoo: Head to ABQ BioPark Zoo for a family-friendly event that emphasizes treats, not tricks. Come eat, drink, and be scary! There will be fun education activities, a craft and pumpkin-painting enrichment station, boo-riffic games, and more for people of all ages to enjoy. Check it out on October 29th!

Vadoween: El Vado will host their first ever Halloween celebration on October 30th! It is sure to be lots of fun, with plenty of tricks & treats, local arts & crafts vendors, and festive food & drink options, all in the beautiful outdoor courtyard. Compete in the costume contest and enjoy music by DJ Primo Swift.

Ghouls on Parade: Ghouls on Parade is a festival and costume parade celebrating the spirit of Halloween. Taking place in Morningside Park on October 29th, this is a fun and family-friendly party! Enjoy local performers and vendors from 4pm-7pm. The main event will be a costume parade, during which kids will receive lots of candy.
